Winter Fun

  • Skiing and Snowboarding - the season usually runs from December to late April, with skiing to suit all abilities with the added attractions of a Halfpipe, a Snow Park and a Boarder Cross course. The ESF ski school at Isola have English speaking instructors, check out their site for more info here. You can hire skis just down from the Chalet at Skiset in Morisset Sports (shop 3 on Map) a list of the tariffs for renting skis and boots can be found here.   • Kart Cross on Ice - on the driving circuit where the Trophee Andros is held.
  • Night skiing - Tuesday & Friday - 8pm - 10pm during the school holidays on the Belvedere piste. Free for everyone !
  • Heliskiing - from Isola and the Italian side, organised by mountain guides.
  • Snow scooters - accompanied by a guide, day or night, and even take an evening trip for a meal at ‘La Valette’ Mountain Restaurant. Click here to find out more.
  • Ice skating - the outdoor ice rink can be found behind the Hotel Pas du Loup.
  • Swimming - Water Slides, Sauna, Hammam & Jacuzzi available down the mountain at Isola aquavallee.

Summer Fun

  • Tennis - courts may be reserved from the Office de Tourisme.
  • Horse riding - An area of the Front de Neige is transformed into stables, where you can hire horses or ponies. There are also organised rides and picnics in the mountains. More info just a click away here.
  • Swimming - the heated open-air swimming pool has great views of the mountains or why not try the water slide at Aquavallee down the mountain in Isola Village.
  • Trampolining - on the Front de Neige.
  • Fishing - in the nearby rivers and lakes (by permit).
  • Mini golf - on the Front de Neige.
  • Hiking - there are many trails around the resort, a brochure of walks and their routes can be purchased from the Office du Tourisme.
  • Accrobranches - tree-top adventure, there are three courses that will test your nerve and keep you entertained for many hours.
  • Paintball - maximum 10 people, reservations taken at the Office du Tourisme.
  • Mountain Biking - bikes can be hired from Ski Service, there is a route down from the telecabine.
  • Telecabine - the lift allows quicker access to walk into the Mercantour National Park.
  • La Vacherie - the dairy is open every day selling locally made cheeses (in parking P1).

You can buy a weekly activity card from the Office de Tourisme which offers unlimited access to the outdoor swimming pool, hourly rental of the tennis courts, an introduction to archery, one game of mini golf, and two return tickets for the telecabine. A passport photograph is required.
